4th of July Weekend at Home Vacation and Celebration Part 1: the Cookies

Patriotic cookies began with the job of baking.

Then Dad made the icing, and turned it red, white and blue.

 Then, we all got to work.

Here are some of the masterpieces.

We all voted on our favorites, and this was the winner.

This was the runner-up.

And then - we ate them.

Making - and eating - the patriotic cookies was really fun, and I think we have started a new family tradition.
